Mr. Donald T. DiFrancesco, Senate President, at the time, is a man who understands the plight of our children. He was instrumental in obtaining the “Children’s Protection Amendment” in New Jersey. This amendment allows parents to have access to sex offender information through the internet. This amendment safeguards our children so they will not become another statistic as a raped, abused or murdered child.

Ms. JoAnn M. Petrizzo, President of the Ocean County Federation of Republican Women, Inc., has supported Megan’s Law in the State of New Jersey. She has invited Ms. Maureen Kanka to speak out about child abuse and murder. She too was instrumental in getting the “Children’s Protection Amendment” passed.

Congressman Christopher Smith of the State of New Jersey was responsible for enacting the “Victims of Trafficking and Violence Protection Act of 2000,” which protects women and children from rape and exploitation in the United States.
